DOs and DON'Ts

I think I am a flexible artist and I am more than willing to explore new themes, topics, characters, and styles, but I do have my limits to what I accept for my commissions.

Please note that you must be over the age of 18 to commission any adult content from me, if you are under the age of 18 and attempting to commission adult content from me, I will reject your order
Adult content comes with an additional 15% surcharge, this does not include nudity, there is no extra charge for that.

I Will Draw:

> Any Gender and pairing (female, male, herm, male/male, female/male pairings etc...
> Any Species
> Human, Anthro, and Feral (I will not draw NSFW feral art)
> NSFW/SFW Art
> Soft fetishes (please ask me about this if you are looking for fetish art)
> Dungeons & Dragons characters
> Various body types
> Alternate artwork versions
> Artistic nudity and adult artworks
> Backgrounds
> If you want something I don't yet have on this list or any of the others, please ask about it!

I prefer to draw:

> Artistic freedom as long as there is character reference given
> Female characters
> Dragons
> Pinups
> I prefer Fantasy and Modern themes, I can attempt Sci-Fi and Cyberpunk themes.

I Will NOT Draw:

> Extreme fetishes such as scat, gore (blood is fine though), vore, hyper, inflation, zoophilia, micro/macro, etc... ask if you are unsure if a kink would fall into this category...
> Sensitive content (ask if you are unsure)
> Unrealistically oversized characters.
> Super complex mecha characters/designs.
> Sexually suggestive content with underage characters.
> Please ask me if you have any questions about what I am unwilling to draw. I reserve the right to reject any commission order should it go beyond my capabilities as an artist, take me too far out of my comfort zone, or if contact with the client is difficult, communication is key in the art business after all!

Payments

> I accept payment via Square (preferred) or PayPal at the moment.
> All payments are to be through dollars [USD], I do not accept any other form of currency.
> I will start working on your commission after I receive at least $100 of the payment. I will complete the artwork when I have full payment.
> I reserve the right to make additional payment requests if certain circumstances are met (i.e. too many edit requests, adding unlisted details to the drawing, etc..)

Refunds

I will do everything I can as an artist to make sure that you are satisfied with the artwork you commissioned from me. However, after a commission is finished and all WIPs have been accepted I will only make small changes to your artwork should you request it (such as small color changes, marking/detail/expression mistakes.). I reserve the right to request additional charges for larger changes later in the art process (such as changing a pose in a way that greatly impacts the artwork, adding elements to the artwork such as detailed clothing/accesories, etc...).
If your references are unclear to start with, then you are not allowed to make minor changes without a fee. Make sure to be clear about what you want in your order.
If you happen to decide to cancel the commission while it is in progress, the amount refunded will be on a case-by-case basis. Keep in mind that you will only receive a full return if the commission HAS NOT BEEN STARTED.
> An order can be returned in full (100% of price paid) should a random, unplanned event occur that would put you in a difficult financial position (serious health problems, broken equipment, etc..)

Payment Plans

> A payment plan is possible when the order is $150 or more. A down payment of at least $50 must be made as a form of advance payment.
> Payment plans are to be completed within 1 - 2 months time, for bigger commissions this timing can be renegotiated.
> Time for complete payment on a payment plan is more flexible for regular customers that have built trust with me.
> For commissions on a payment plan, I will draw the initial sketch and wait to finish your commission until I have received the full payment.

The Process

The work process has 4 stages to which the purchaser has access. I will send WIPs of all stages by private message over the social link my commissioner has access to, whichever is most convenient (discord, Twitter, e-mail, etc..). The 4 stages are as follows:

1: The Sketch

Once I have received the full payment or the down payment of a payment plan, I will send the commissioner a sketch. In this stage I will be accepting any changes. The first sketch change is free of charge, additional sketch changes can be made for a fee. This fee exists because I respect my time and work, and making changes over and over for a commissioner is not satisfying. If I missed any elements that were included in your references that are important to you and you catch them during this stage I will make such changes for free regardless of how many changes I have already had to make. The fee for additional changes depends on the details.

2: Line Art

After everything has been accepted, the next stage is lineart. During this stage I refine the sketch and add more details in the artwork. The pose may be altered slightly during the lineart phase but not by a significant amount. On this stage I will only make little corrections for free, I WILL NOT accept any full reconstructions of the entire pose.

3: Flat Color

After the Line Art has been finalized, I move onto the flat colors of the artwork. I reserve the right to change colors slightly during this stage of the artwork if the original ones don't match my standards or don't fit into the artwork as a whole. For example, if your character is neon green, blue, red, etc.. or has stark white or pitch black features, any color that you would have to push saturation to the maximum or turn everything to zero to achieve will likely be changed to be less saturated, or become closer to gray slightly, as these colors are far more realistic to shade.

4: Shading/Rendering

After the artwork has been completed and shaded (if your order included shading) I will typically send a link (typically Google Drive) to download the art files. Included in the link will be the different sizes of the artwork which are as follows:
> Full Version: The full version is the size that I have worked on. It is forbidden to publish this version online, sending it to friends is alright as long as they understand that they are not to post or publish it anywhere.
> Web Version: It is alright to publish and share the web version online after a week or two has passed AND/OR I have posted the artwork myself.
My signature/watermark will be present in each version of the artwork. A person who removes my watermark will be banned and blacklisted.

Turnaround Time

My delivery time depends on the amount of free time I have, I tend to draw for about 80% of my free time and spend the rest gaming at the moment, please keep in mind that I am only a part time artist, I work also as a waitress for a local restaurant part time. My health state and other situations can also impact the delivery time for my works. It could take anywhere from a few hours to a few months normally, I would kindly ask you to be patient with me (If I had my way I would be finishing all my commissions in less than an hour!). Should an issue come up on my end that will delay my time to complete your order, I will send you a private message going over the details of the setback, and if I can give a time estimate of when I will be able to finish it with at least some accuracy, I will do so.
I will not accept deadlines for artwork, though I will make exceptions to this rule for my regular customers. Let me know also if the art is a gift for a birthday, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc.. and I will try my best to finish before such a date. It is typically best to order such a special commission about 2 months in advance to make it more likely for me to be able to complete the commission on time.

Copyrights

All Copyrights go only to me, Lilith Drakenheart, the Artist. They are inalienable and protected by law. Please contact me for commercial use pricing. I reserve the full rights to my artwork. Full rights entail the right to use, publish, re-post, and alter the artwork as I wish, as well as selling prints of the artwork.
I agree to place arts on other profiles in low resolution web versions, but only as long as there is a link to my account present on such a post.
Every artwork has my signature, removing it is equal to breaking the copyright laws.
My clients have the right to print the high resolution version of the artwork for their private use.
By ordering artwork from me, you automatically agree to me displaying the piece however I please.
